Before moving to Scottsdale, and opening Knitting
in Scottsdale in 2000 Roberta Rosenfeld was the owner of The Woolgathering in New York City, after
establishing The Yarn Store on Manhattan’s upper east side. She is recognized as an expert in hand
knitting with 21 years of technique and design experience. New York Magazine Best Bets wrote, "The woolgathering
offers instruction, workshops, a superior selection of yarns. Roberta’s exclusive patterns, and her custom-instruction
ensures perfectly sized sweaters." Now Roberta and her daughter Karen Monier are continuing these high standards
of excellence at knitting in scottsdale.
