DESIGN DETAILS
- Knit in strips using a bind-off and pick-up technique to separate the squares
- Any combination or number of colors can be used
- In the sample each of the five colors was used six times for the background color and six times for the bobbles
- A sixth color is only used for the joining of squares, strips and the outside border
- Makes a special lap robe for an adult

For the afghan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZE
- size 6 - (4mm) needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
- size G - (4mm) crochet hook for crochet edge

NOTIONS

GAUGE
- 20 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) in stockinette stitch on size 6-(4 mm) needles
