Rowan - Cashsoft dk
57% extra fine merino - 33% acrylic microfibre - 10% cashmere
1.75 ounces-(50 grams)—142 yards-(130 m) each ball
4(4, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) balls
Fingering weight yarn works well for the flowers and leaves. The flowers will be too large if crocheted in the same weight yarn as the cardigan is knit. The yarn you use for the flowers must launder the same as the yarn used for the body of the cardigan.
A, B, and C—3 shades of pink or desired colors for the flowers
D—1 shade of green for the leaves
Note: If you are knitting the cardigan in cotton; DMC 6 strand embroidery thread works well for the flowers—1 of each color. When using a DMC red shade; test for colorfastness.
In order for your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.
It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.
