Our patterns have been worked many times by our in
shop clients. Your comments are always welcome.
Make these pre-knit filets Christmas Stockings filets
your very own. We chose 4 very neutral backgrounds that lend themselves to many different embellishments. Knowledge of knitting
or crocheting is not necessary. We leave the seam open for easy decorating.
All that remains to be done is:
- Decorate with whatever embellishments you choose, or
choose from one our suggestions
- Pick up stitches at the top and add an optional
cuff (we include 3 choices) or leave as is
- Personalize with recipients name or initials
(graphed out alphabet is included)
- Weave back seam and sew on crocheted hanger (included
in kit)
Ways to use:
- Have a family grab bag and each person decorates
a stocking for the name they drew. It might be interesting if everyone starts with the same color stocking filet. It is unbelievable
how different each one looks after decorating.
- Have a stocking decorating party with friends and family.
The hostess supplies all the embellishments or everyone brings a few for sharing.
- Start a tradition and make one for every member of
your family
