GAUGE
20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on size 7 needles
Note: Because of the slipped stitches
this pattern tends to pull in somewhat. A gauge of 20 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette stitch will become approximately
24 stitches = 4 inches with the same yarn and needle size in the Woven Gingham Check.
