Bag worked in any Main Color looks great with the black base and black and cream stripes.   Black and cream works well with many main colors.

 

SKILL LEVELS FOR KNITTING
	Beginner	Projects for first-time knitters using basic knit and purl stitches. Minimal shaping.
	Easy	Projects using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and simple shaping and finishing.

YARN	Brown Sheep - Lamb's Pride Worsted 85% wool, 15% mohair 113 grams - 190 yards   2 pull skeins required for main color 1 pull skein required for contrasting color 1 1 pull skein required for contrasting color 2
NOTE	When felting the gauge does not have to be exact, but: If your gauge is too tight the purse will not felt well if your gauge is too loose you may run out of yarn
GAUGE	Before Felting: 12 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches   After Felting: approximately 18 stitches and 34 rows = 4 inches
NEEDLES	size 11 straight needle - 10 inches long   2 size 11 or smaller double-pointed needles, at least 8" long
NOTIONS	1 pair P35 plastic purse handles   1 set (4 pieces) of purse feet 12mm - gold or silver   1 magnetic snap 18mm (for lined purses only) - gold or silver
CARE	If bag becomes soiled with use - spot clean or dry clean
