85% wool, 15% mohair
113 grams - 190 yards
 
2 pull skeins required for main color
1 pull skein required for contrasting color 1
1 pull skein required for contrasting color 2

 

NOTE

 

When felting the gauge does not have to be exact, but:
If your gauge is too tight the purse will not felt well
if your gauge is too loose you may run out of yarn

 

GAUGE

 

Before Felting: 12 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches
 
After Felting: approximately 18 stitches and 34 rows = 4 inches

 

NEEDLES

 

size 11 straight needle - 10 inches long
 
2 size 11 or smaller double-pointed needles, at least 8" long

 

NOTIONS

 

1 pair P35 plastic purse handles
 
1 set (4 pieces) of purse feet 12mm - gold or silver
 
1 magnetic snap 18mm (for lined purses only) - gold or silver
