SKILL LEVELS FOR KNITTING

YARN	Brown Sheep - Lamb's Pride Worsted 85% wool, 15% mohair 113 grams - 190 yards   3 skeins required for color A (darker shade) 2 skeins required for color B (lighter shade)
NOTE	When felting the gauge does not have to be exact, but: If your gauge is too tight the purse will not felt well if your gauge is too loose you may run out of yarn
GAUGE	Before Felting: approximately 14 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches   After Felting: approximately 22 stitches and 31 rows = 4 inches
NEEDLES	size 11 straight needle - 10 inches long   one size 6 or a smaller straight needle
NOTIONS	1 pair P35 plastic purse handle BP23 (28") - brown only   1 set (4 pieces) of purse feet 12mm - gold or silver   1 magnetic snap 18mm (for lined purses only) - gold or silver   optional: 3/4 yard fabric for lining
