The combination of wide horizontal rib and 1 x1 ribbing at each edge make this shoulder wrap very attractive. The loop closure keeps the wrap from falling off your shoulders. There are paired doubled decreases to give a rounded shape.

SIZE:
One size fits most
width-excluding 1 x 1 ribbing: 36 inches
width-including 1 x 1 ribbing: 56 inches
length-lower edge to top: 17 inches



YARN USED FOR SAMPLE:
Brown Sheep - Cotton Fleece
80% cotton, 20% merino wool
100 grams - 215 yards each pull skein
3 pull skeins
 
approximately 645 yards are required
 
For your wrap to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important.

It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.



NEEDLES:
size 5 needles for 1 x 1 ribbing
size 8 needles
or size needles to obtain the correct gauge



OTHER NOTIONS:
gauge ruler
ring markers
tapestry needle



GAUGE:
18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches on size 8 needles in stockinette stitch
