Regardless of body measurements, everyone prefers a different finished look. It is helpful to use the “actual measurement of finished garment” to decide which size to make. The following measurements refer to this specific garment to help you find the best fit.

Skirt-for 23 inch-(58.4 cm) long skirt. Adjust amounts for different lengths

For your cardigan and skirt to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES
- size 7-(3.75 mm) straight needles
- size 7-(4.5 mm) straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
- size 7-(4.5 mm) circular needle; 32 inches-(80 cm) long
- size H-(5 mm) crochet hook for crochet edge
