YARN USED FOR SAMPLE
SandnesGarn — Lanett
100% merino wool
1.75 ounces-(50 grams)       -     214 yards-(195 m) each
2 balls
- Approximately 428 yards-(391 m) are needed for this cardigan and cap

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZE
- Size 1-(2.25 mm) and size 3-(3.25 mm) straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
- 4 size 3-(3.25 mm) or smaller double pointed needles or 4 stitch holders

NOTIONS
- Gauge ruler
- Tracking sheet-included with pattern
- Yarn markers - number 10 crochet thread in a contrasting color is great for yarn markers
- Two ring markers
- Tapestry needle
- Three small buttons
- Cable needle

GAUGE
- 28 stitches and 40 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) in stockinette stitch on size 3-(3.25 mm) needles
