DESIGN DETAILS
- Positive ease, approximately 1.5 inch-(3.8 cm) for x-small and small – 2.5 inches-(6.3 cm) for medium and large - 3.5 inch-(8.8 cm) for size X-large
- Very easy to shorten or lengthen
- Round neckline pullover
- The elbow length dolman sleeve has 3 inch-(7.62 cm) wide 2 x 2 ribbed cuffs
- 3 inch-(7.62 cm) ribbing on the lower edge of the body
- Separate back and front, joined at the shoulders.

TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS PATTERN
Links to videos for selected techniques are included. I look for videos as close to possible as the instructions I have written. Sometimes they may be slightly different but still very helpful.

Regardless of actual body measurements, everyone prefers a different finished look. It is helpful to use the FINISHED GARMENT MEASUREMENTS, in the chart below, which refers to this specific garment only. It can help your choose the look you prefer.

YARN USED FOR SAMPLE
Brown Sheep Company—Cotton Fine
80% Pima Cotton—20% Merino Wool
1.75 ounces (50 grams) each pull skein
222 yards (203 meters) each pull skein
6(6 – 7 – 7 - 8) pull skeins
For your pullover to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.
FOR A SUBSTITUTE YARN
SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES
- Size 3 (3.25 mm) and size 6-(4 mm) straight needles
- Size 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle, 16 inches (40.6 cm) long
NOTIONS
- Gauge ruler
- Yarn markers - number 10 crochet thread in a contrasting color is great for yarn markers
- Tracking sheet- included with pattern
- Five double pointed needles, size 6-(4 mm) or smaller to temporarily hold stitches instead of stitch holders
- Point protectors help prevent stitches from slipping off the double-pointed needles
- Tapestry needle
GAUGE
- 23 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches-(10 cm) in stockinette stitch on size 6-(4mm) needles
