DESIGN DETAILS
- Relaxed fit
- Round neckline
- Cuff to cuff sleeves, forming a saddle shoulder
- A narrow yoke in the front and a wider yoke in the back
- Vertical rib on the body, horizontal rib on the yoke
- Five button closure
- Crochet along neckline and center fronts


PATTERN DETAILS - the easy to follow pattern includes:
- Schematic for each piece
- A separate tracking sheet for each size – only print the tracking sheet for the size you are knitting
- Diagrams and full explanations for techniques, some with links to selected videos
- A link for substitute yarn
- The upper portion of the cardigan is worked from the wrist of the right sleeve, then the front and back yokes and completing at the wrist of the left sleeve.
- The lower portion of the cardigan is picked up along the yoke and knit to the bottom edge, allowing you to easily change the length of cardigan other than the suggested length

YARN USED FOR SAMPLE
Classic Elite Yarns—Classic Silk
50% cotton—30% silk—20% nylon
1.75ounces-(50 grams)      -       135 yards-(123 m) each ball

8(9—11—13—15) balls

For your cardigan to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.

FOR A SUBSTITUTE YARN

SUGGESTED SIZE NEEDLES
- size 6-(4 mm) straight needles; or size needles to obtain the correct gauge
- size G-(4 mm) crochet hook

NOTIONS
- gauge ruler
- tracking sheets for each size included with pattern
- two size 6 or smaller double-pointed needles to hold stitches
- tapestry needle
- 5 buttons—1.25 inch-(30 mm) or desired size buttons

GAUGE
- 18 stitches x 30 rows = 4 inches-(
10 cm) in stockinette stitch on size 6-(4 mm)
